No.: ED(nfra)/TechiNo. 9 | BO Date: 1 8 Ne ' aon HOY 2 Circular Sub: Fixing of service charges for incentivized Electric Vehicle Charging Station in the State of Maharashtra, Ministry of Power, Gol has issued Guidelines and standards for Charging Infrastructure for Electrical Vehicles on dtd. 01.10.2019 for implementation of FAME-II policy and creation of charging infrastructure for Electric Vehicle. MSEDCL is the State Nodal Agency for roll out mechanism of Electric Vehicle charging Infrastructure in Maharashtra. Public Charging Stations (PCS) and Fast Charging Stations (FCS) are being established in Maharashtra by Utilities as well as private entrepreneurs. As per dt 01.10.2019 Gol guidelines, MSEDCL being the State Nodal agency has the responsibility to fix the services charges for PCS/FCS which have been installed with Govt. incentives (financial or otherwise). Accordingly Service charges for Urban area and Rural area for charging of Electric Vehicle at Public Charging stations (PCS) / Fast Charging Stations (FCS) are in the State of Maharashtra fixed as under : Table-1 Electric vehicle charging station Urban area | Rural area Service charges (Per unit cost in Rs.) Rs. 3.00 Rs. 2.30 Service charges are to be levied to end user per unit cost in addition to total energy charges including electricity duty and tax on sale of electricity. Further GST as per prevailing rates would be applicable on the service charge.
