RFA FILES

1. The .RFA files delivered by Minotti SpA are in the 2015 version.
2. Unit of measurement: metric.
3. The .RFA files delivered by Minotti SpA are not technical executive files; they provide visual
rendering of the product to be used as part of Revit projects.
4. To upload all “types” of product in the Revit project file, upload the .RFA file from: "carica
famiglia" [“upload family”] or "carica nel progetto" [“upload in the project”].
5. The families may include differently sized “types”.
6. The "Dati Identità” [“Identity Data”] include information about the product. The "Element
Code" fields include product codes.
7. Note on right and left-hand elements: the specularity derives from a left/right check; therefore
the "Element code" field includes the dual code (e.g.: FRDET112S- FRDET112D); when
drafting a quantitative chart we recommend adding manually in the "comments" field the
words DX or SX (DX =right; SX=left) as in the note: Left/Right note.
9. Rendering: the files are set with some finishings to be render-ready; they may, however, be
customized with product finishings available in the product sheet on the minotti.com website.
Upholstered products have been set with the texture “Pumice Aspen Leather" available from
the minotti.com website; however, they may be customized also referring to the product sheet
available on the minotti.com website.
10. In some cases the .zip file contains textures which help characterize the product.
