Setting up Tribe Notebook

Cover
You need to have your tribe name, tribe members, class period, and my name on the cover of your notebook, and tribe name on edge of notebook.

Zipper Bag
The first thing in your notebook should be your zipper bag. At ALL times, you need to have 5 pencils, an eraser, and 5 colored pens.

Front
The next thing behind your zipper bag needs to be your calendar/daily agenda (recorder), grade report sheet (recorder writes assignments/analyst writes grades and calculates average), and then tribal report sheet (reporter). These items will be replaced each 6 weeks.

First Divider
You need to label your first divider Guidelines. This is where you will keep Notebook Grading Rubric, Syllabus/Expectations, Tribe Member Contract (Duties Sheet), Tribe Contact Sheet, ABCs of success. These items will stay in your notebook ALL year long!

Second Divider
You need to label your second divider Activities. After leader returns graded activities, analyst will record grades and calculate tribal average for each assignment. Then, organizer will file ALL members activities here for the 6 weeks in order of grade report sheet. Clean out at end of 6 weeks.

Third Divider
You need to label your third divider Homework. After leader returns graded homework, analyst will record grades and calculate tribal average for each assignment. Then, organizer will file ALL members homework here for the 6 weeks in order of grade report sheet. Clean out at end of 6 weeks.

Fourth Divider
You need to label your fourth divider Quizzes. After leader returns graded quizzes, analyst will record grades and calculate tribal average for each assignment. Then, organizer will file ALL members quizzes here for the 6 weeks in order of grade report sheet.

Fifth Divider
You need to label your fifth divider Important. This will be resources that your teacher deems important to keep ALL YEAR long. The first item will be your EOC/TAKS formula chart. This is a collaborative group work activity, and I will do my part to ensure the success of my tribe.
