After the ascension of Jesus to heaven, the believers continue to believe and proclaim their faith in

Christ. As John writes:

1What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we
have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life— 2and the life was
manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with
the Father and was manifested to us— 3what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also,
so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and
with His Son Jesus Christ. 4These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete. (1
John 1: 1-3).

1. IMPERIUM: SAINT PETER (2005)

Synopsis/ Review from Dove.org
Award-winning actor Omar Sharif is Peter, once a simple
fisherman, who Jesus chooses to be one of his twelve Apostles. While
initially fearing and doubting the power of Christ’s message, Peter
becomes a dedicated follower and lives only to spread the message of
the Christians across the land. In this epic drama Peter comes up
against many obstacles, including those who want to put an end to
Christianity-and ultimately gives up his own life to spread Christ’s
love and save the souls of many.
This movie is Biblical with a few alterations which may be
historically related. This film begins with Jesus’ death and
resurrection, and moves into the book of Acts as Peter is used to raise
a lame man, preaches and converts literally thousands of people,
upsets the Roman government, and becomes acquainted with Saul,
who later becomes the Apostle Paul. It is scripturally accurate with a
few scenes based on the history of the Roman Coliseum. It is a
testament to the time frame right after Christ’s departure from earth.
