Racism and Hate Speech exercise:

1. Watch the Clark doll experiment video. Please write your thoughts about it.
In the video you can see that the children describe the 2 dolls, all the children said that the
black one was uglier and bad and the white one was good and cute.
That is what promotes today's society, racism is also seen in children, in schools, on the
street, on TV, everywhere we see racism and children are aware of it

3. What is a Hate Speech?

Hate speech incites violence and undermines social cohesion and

tolerance. The devastating effect of hatred is sadly nothing new.
However, its scale and impact are nowadays amplified by new
technologies of communication, to the point that hate speech - including
online - has become one of the most frequent methods for spreading
divisive rhetoric and ideologies on a global scale and threatening peace.

4. Think about a hate Speech in Argentina or the world. Describe it in your own words (max. 10
lines) and bring information (article, news, video, etc.) to next class to discuss about it.
