DESCRIPTION
AQUAIMP WIE-2100 series is a water based impregnant of excepcional quality used for the
protection, conservation and decoration of the wood, as much of interior as of exterior. The
product has been developed in order to protect the wood from atmospheric agents, fungus and
xilophagous microorganisms. The pigments it contains are light resistant, preventing the clear
woods from greyshment and the alteration of the natural colour due to ultraviolet rays. The
particular hygroscopic and elastic treatment given to this product, lets wood a natural
sweating. The series is characterized by its high uniformant power, reducing the colour in the
angles.

AQUAIMP WIE-2100 series is appropiate for the varnish of all type of furniture exposed to
exterior or interior atmospheres: wood houses, windows, storm windows, blinds, balconies,
etc… Constructed with coniferous or non-tannings woods and inhibited substances: those
substances could hinder the stained of the wood, obstructing the uniformity in the stained and
compromising the final appearance of the manufactured.

Appropiate woods: Fir, Wild Pine, Swedish Pine, Hemlock, Douglas, Larch and Cedar.

Non-Appropiate woods: Iroko, Oak, Niangon, Teka and Russian Larch. It is recommended
the use of AQUAIMP WIE-2101 series for this kind of woods.

The product comes ready for its application, if it would be necessary to make a lighter colour,
it can be diluted with AQUAIMP WIE-2100 Transparent 00.

PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT

Wood must be clean of dust, fat an wax. It can’t exceed of the 15% of moisture.
For applications on non-resinous woods is enough to ensure that the support to varnish is
clean. On resinous woods, it is recommended to clean the surface with a dampened rag of
nitrocellulose thinner (IRILAC SOLVENT)
Woods must be previously sanded with a 150 sandpaper in order to reduce the cross fiber.

APPLICATION
It is recommended to shake the product before its use. It can be applied by brush, immersion
or flow coating.

This values can suffer important changes, depending on the grams applied, temperature and
environmental dampness.
It is recommended for drying process of water based products to do it on environmental
relative dampness conditions below 85% and a non-inferior temperature of 15ºC. Out of this
limits, the drying speed slows down.

ATENTION
• Product must be stored between 5ºC and 35ºC.
• Water varnish residues must be eliminate according to the effective norm. Never dump
the residues to the sewage system.
