Jack’s evolution to savagery

In The Lord of The Flies by William Golding, Jack changed from the beginning to the

end because he was more savage. To clarify, Jack was more unhinged compared to how he was

in the beginning. It’s evident that, Jack lost his humanity by the end of the book.

In the Lord of the Flies by WG, Jack’s appearance changed from beginning to the end because he

was more wild and savage. To clarify, Jack was less proper and he was more like an animal.”two

light blue eyes, frustrated now, and turning, or ready to turn, to anger” It is clear that Jack has

had a significant change from the beginning to the end. To conclude, Jack has definitely changed

in appearance from the beginning to the end.

Jack’s actions have become more saved through the progression of the story. To clarify, at the

beginning of the book he suffered to put the knife down and kill the pig. But as the story

progresses he collects the will power to kill, making him lead himself down the path of insanity.

His diplomatic actions have also changed, specifically at the beginning of the book he would

never dare to disobey Ralph, but nearing the end of the book he sees that Ralph is useless and

weak in comparison.

The other characters start to fear Jack, at the beginning of the book the other characters do not

think much of Jack, they just think of him as a hunter someone who gets them food.but nearing

the end of the book most of the characters either fear or respect him as a strong individual. They

fear him because of his bloodthirsty behavior and animal like instincts. But they respect him

because he does what it takes to have fun.
