FINAL JUDGMENT

On March 1, 2022, a jury returned a verdict in favor of Relators and


against Defendant BJCTA only on Relators’ implied false certification
claim (Count III) and in favor of Defendants on all other remaining counts.

In consideration of the jury verdict, the court rules as follows:

• The court ENTERS FINAL JUDGMENT in favor of


Relators and against BJCTA on Count III in the amount of
$1,080,000.00, which is “3 times the amount of damages
which the Government sustain[ed] because of the act of
[BJCTA].” 31 U.S.C. § 3729(a)(1)(G).

• The court DISMISSES WITH PREJUDICE these Counts:


o Count III as to Defendants Murdock, Strada, and
Watters;
o Count V as to all Defendants; and,
o Count VI as to BJCTA.

Costs taxed against BJCTA.

The court DIRECTS the Clerk to close this case.
