Kitchen Tips:
Tips:
•For a little heat, try adding 1/4
teaspoon McCormick® Crushed Red
Pepper to your seasoning blend.
•To make a big batch of homemade
taco seasoning to have on hand,
simply double, triple, or even
quadruple the seasoning blend part of
the recipe. Store in an airtight
container in a cool, dry place up to 6
months. To prepare 1 pound of taco
meat, use about 4 1/2 tablespoons of
the seasoning blend along with 3/4

I don't understand why this has 4 stars? Using your own fresh
spices with no added chemicals… The cornstarch is just a
thickening agent. I love this recipe! I will NEVER go back to store
bought!

We had tacos and I forgot to buy taco seasoning. This was amazing
to me now I had three pounds of ground beef so I made three
times the amount. I a Leo added some tomato bouillon powder to
the mix too I used half the amount. It was great!

This recipe was incredibly delicious, but with the following

changed. Instead of 5 teaspoons of Paprika (too much!), use three
teaspoons of SMOKED paprika. Sooooo delicious!!

Our McCormick® Taco Seasoning envelopes are 1 oz.
However, when using our "Recipe for Taco Seasoning"
instructions, for 1 pound of taco meat, we recommend
using about 4 1/2 tablespoons of the seasoning blend
along with 3/4 cup of water. ~JM
