The EMPM was launched on 1* of January 2023, ‘and will initially run as a pilot project until 31 December 2026 equipped with an overall budget of € 5 milion. Its aim is to enhance options for online learning and mobility for Myanmar students and young professionals, who are affected by recent interruptions of university education and employment. This will be done, among others, by awarding mobility scholarships to complete studies and earn top-up degrees at universities in ASEAN, including limited options for short-term mobility to EU universities. We are inviting universities based in the ASEAN member states with previous experience in hosting intemational students, especially from Myanmar, to join the network of EMPM universities. To provide you with details on the EMPM, the implementing consortium of European higher education agencies, DAAD, Campus France and Nuffic, will hold an online information workshop on 15 February 2023 at 03:00 pm (UTC+07:00).
