of these three sixteeneightyfivers. Bach, a more stay at home or
in church composer introducing to the world intellectualism into
music. Handel, an impresario of composers, setting London
alight from Brook Street with everything from coronation
marches to oratorios. And Scarlatti, composer of the most
difficult of keyboard music so little known. They are so different
but come together in this series compiled by Matthew.
