 Access: Increase access to affordable and healthy food to low-income communities.

If your organization is based outside of the US, funds should generally not be used to cover capital
expenses, due to U.S. Internal Revenue Service compliance requirements. Capital expenses are defined
as any purchase or improvement to a current asset with a value of $5,000 USD or more and a useful life
of more than one year. This includes, but is not limited to, computer hardware or software, equipment,
building materials or construction, etc.

By submitting this application to the Citi Foundation, your organization affirms the following
representations and agrees to comply with the terms set forth below should your application be approved
for funding:

 Submission of an application does not constitute an offer, promise, or guarantee of funding from
the Citi Foundation, Citigroup Inc., or any of its subsidiaries.

 The existence of any past, current, or the promise of any potential business relationships with Citi
or Citi subsidiaries do not influence grant decisions, and mention of such relationships may
disqualify your grant application. The Citi Foundation declines any tangible benefits your
organization might decide to give to Citi or the Citi Foundation as a result of a grant. 

 Your organization does not support any direct or indirect terrorist financing, money laundering,
and/or any other criminal or illicit activities.

 No portion of the funds will be used for political or lobbying purposes, including without limitation,

Foundation.

 Should use of the Citi Foundation logo be necessary for communications about this grant, pre-

 The Citi Foundation works with partner organizations such as Charities Aid Foundation America
to support philanthropic initiatives outside the United States. If applicable, these organizations will
require additional information and documentation from you once the Citi Foundation has
recommended the grant to them. The partner organization will make the final approval decision
for the grant and will have oversight responsibility throughout the grant term. Should the Citi
Foundation recommend this program to a partnering organization such as Charities Aid
Foundation America, grant funds will be used in accordance with the program details as outlined
in this grant application.
