Objective(s):
Carry out the program for mathematical operations in the LabVIEW program
Theoretical Framework:
LabVIEW is a software that provides a powerful graphical development environment for the design of data
acquisition, measurement analysis and data presentation engineering applications thanks to a programming
language without the complexity of other development tools.

Methodology / Procedure:
Step 1.- Open the program
Step 2.- Place the corresponding controllers and indicators
Step 3.- Add the mathematical operators or bolyanos as the case may be
Step 4.- Make connections between controllers, operators and indicators.
Step 5.- Simulate program

Analysis of Results:
In this unit we learned about how to obtain the transfer function of a closed loop system, for which we use a
formula, which will help us reach the function, which simplifies the closed loop system, the objective of the
activity ends up making us compare our results, with the system, and with the help of simulink , we will be able
to evaluate if our procedure was correct, that is, if the output of our system has the same result as the transfer
function obtained.

Conclusion:
In this practice we were able to carry out through LabVIEW, the use of mathematical operations through a
process control software, although they are basic functions, they are fundamental to learn more complex
things.
Application in Industry:
This serves for programming, therefore it can be used in different areas of programming either industrial or
education, in order to facilitate some tasks, which will be controlled by the functions that are predetermined
in the creation of the program

What is a process control? It is an engineering specialty that combines, in turn, different branches, among which
are: control systems, automation, electronics and computer science.

What is a mathematical operation? An operation is a function that brings zero or more input values to a well-
defined output value.

What is Boolean algebra? In mathematics, digital electronics, and computer science, Boolean algebra, also
called Boolean algebra, is an algebraic structure that outlines logical operations.

What is LabVIEW? LabVIEW is a software that provides a powerful graphical development environment for the
design of Data Acquisition Engineering applications
