 Introduce the book and author

The book “Victory in the wilderness” is written by John Bevere. It was originally

published in 1992 and he was the author of national best –seller “The bait of Satan”. He

is also international minister and head of messenger. His resources have been translated

into over 110 language and over 40 million copies have been given worldwide.

In this book we are going to know about how John Bevere focus on ‘Victory in the

wilderness’ and know more about my thought by overviewing the whole book.

Content of book review

In this book ‘Victory in the wilderness’ it will stretch us and teach us to see God’s

perspective for our life even in the driest times. It is not time to enjoy with earthly things

or seek signs or wonder instead it is time to seek the heart of God and one must focus on

personal relationship with God. We may face discourage, anger, problems etc. which can

decrease our spiritual growth. So, if we are not with stand with God and if we don’t

know the visions of the promise we can just give up. In life we may come across

different hard circumstance which can spoil your relationship with God but it may be

testing from God how far you have faith in Him. God have purpose to each and one of us

that we must accomplished the work what He have given to us. He will not give

temptation beyond our control. Sometime we are very faithful to God but it’s seems He

is not with us but He is still working on us. Jesus as example for all Christian because He

leave the comfort zone and work according to His Father will so do we have to work in

His path or else He will punish us. There will be many difficulties but remember that is

not the end because God will still give chance to change. To overcome from evil we

should allow the Holy Spirit room to apply it to our personal life.
God is not looking outward Holiness, He want inward changed of heart that He will help

His people in the wilderness. We should not avenge ourselves with bitterness, and

forgiveness go slander or strife but rather put on the love of God for love covers the

multitude of sins. So we have to walk up and helping hands to other to show how the

followers of Jesus Christ behave. We should also spread the word of God to the world

even in the hardest place to prepare and for the change of others’ lives. We must strongly

believe or clearly understands who we follow that no one couldn’t take away from us.

God is calling each and everyone us to be with Him. He never shortens His hand to help

us even He use prophet and disciples for the restoration of His kingdom. God will

purified pure and impure so repent and covert before you see the great harvest of the last

day. Who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution but He will be filled

with joy when the day of judgement that God will reward according to our work.

Conclusion

The message given by this book give us encouraging words that believers need to hear it

overcome hard circumstance as a followers of Christ. It also gives me strength and

courage towards my destiny in God.
