Hi Joy,

I’ve just got some information about the CineCity classic film festival so we can plan our cinema trip
tomorrow. First of all, adult tickets cost £ 0 12. As for the films, there’s Star Wars: A New Hope on Screen
1 __________ at 15.10, 18.20, and 20.2 __________. It’s a sci-fi film and sounds like fun. On Screen 2
there’s 3 __________ Woman, which is a romcom. It’s on at 12 noon and 17.30. It’s got a 4 __________
rating so I think we’d better take our ID if we want to go and see that one.

Screen 3 is the 5 __________ screen, and that’s showing Superman 6 __________ at 18.00. I think that’s
a perfect time for us. What do you think?

We can get drinks and 7 __________ there, so we don’t need to take anything ourselves. I think that’s
everything, but if you want more information, you can ring the cinema between 8 a.m. and 8 __________
p.m. on 020 3571900.

Let me know what you want to see and text me. I’d happy to go to any of those films, so it’s up to you.

See you,

Barb

Greetings from London! We’re having fun here. We arrived on Saturday

and we’re staying until Thursday. Our hotel is very nice and is right next
to Green Park. We can walk to Buckingham Palace in ten minutes! They
give us a full English breakfast every morning with fried eggs, bacon
and baked beans.
We have done a river trip on a boat to Greenwich, and yesterday we
went to see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Tomorrow we’re
going to St Paul’s Cathedral, and having dinner at the Ritz. We can’t Tod Baker,
wait! The weather isn’t too bad – it rained yesterday, but today it’s 105 Green St,
sunny and quite warm. Londoners seem to be quite friendly and kind,
which is not what we were expecting. We’ve made a new friend called York,
Bob who plays the violin outside Green Park Underground station with YO1 7BY
his pet dog, Tammy.
Do let Maddy know how we’re getting on, and see you when we get
back.

Hi Chelsea

I’ve found 0 three places that might be suitable for you. The first one only has one
bedroom, but it’s only 1 __________ minutes’ walk from the centre of Leeds. It
doesn’t have a garden, but it has a 2 __________. The rent is £520 per
3 __________ so it may be a bit too expensive for you.
The second one is a basement flat. It has two 4 __________ and a garden. It’s
cheaper than the first one; the rent is only £450 per month and it’s bigger, but it isn’t
so close to the city centre. It’s near some shops and 5 __________ though and you
can rent it for just 6 __________ months.
The last one isn’t a flat at all, it’s a 7 __________. It’s outside Leeds, but there’s a
good 8 __________ service to the city centre. It’s the biggest of the three places: it’s
got a study and two gardens. The rent’s only £460 per month and the rental period is
flexible.
If you want to see any of these places, you need to ring 0130 259 376 to arrange a
viewing. Good luck!

Hi Jamie
I wonder if you could help? I’ve got a new job in Leeds where you grew up,
and I need to find a flat to rent there, just for a few months while I look for
something permanent. Could you have a look at what’s available and let me
know if there’s anything suitable? I’d like something with two bedrooms, a
study and some outside space. It needs to be near the station and the city
centre and in a quiet location. I don’t want to pay more than £500 per month.
Thanks so much, and hope to hear from you soon,
Chelsea
