CESA®-LIGHT UV M10-74

General

Sunlight in combination with heat and oxygen induces degradation reactions in plastics,
causing detrimental effects on mechanical, optical and other physical properties.
The results are breakage, chalking and discoloration of the end article.
CESA®-light masterbatches provide an efficient protection against photochemical
degradation, thus making light sensitive polymers suitable for outdoor applications.

Description

CESA®–light UV M10-74 is a concentrate of light and heat stabilisers in pellet form. It

contains UV -stabilisers in a PE carrier.

Heat resistance: 260 ºC

Application

Suggested to be used in LDPE, LLDPE, EVA, PP, (HDPE) for:

Injection moulding, blow moulding and films extrusion.
CESA®–light UV M10-74 is especially recommended for bale-wrap and silage films,
polypropylene thick parts and tapes for food contact applications.

Dosage

1.5 % – 4.0 % depending on the applications (see examples).

Remark

The effectiveness of CESA® –light UV M10-74 masterbatches may be reduced when in

contact with halogenated, acidic and sulphur containing product.
The product should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
