TASK 1- TELL ME MY IMPORTANCE


Directions: explain the importance of good communication to the following field.

LAW
Having good communication about law would explain the importance of it. Studying law
makes us understand it. It also helps us to make an easy conversation to some people who
know about laws.

HEALTHCARE/HOSPITALS
This is one of the important facilities we need. Having good communication through hospital
would make good communication between the patient and doctor and create an
understanding.

BPO COMPANIES
Having good communication in BPO company would make an advantage to the workers to
make a good communication skill. It will help them to exchange some important details and
information.

COURT PROCEEDINGS

Inside the court effective communication is essential to managing all client relationships,
judge’s verdict, presentation of witness and evidence. The judge will clearly convey his
verdict. Lawyers can present well and can cross examine other witnesses. Audiences can
relate well and can understand the weights of the case based on trial

SHOWBIZ

I think having a good communication in the world of entertainment, it helps the actors and
actress to generate or to easily start a conversation in each other. Also, it helps the listener or
the audience to understand the flow of a film or drama.

COMMUNITY
In community having good communication with others is a good way of treating people. It
helps us to express our though and feelings with others, it also enhances our communication
skills, and it helps us to adopt and spread some news to others.

TASK 2- GIVE ME A MEANING


Directions: Give the meaning of the following words that connects to the meaning of good
communication.

1. Diversity- it helps to reduce the barrier to make a conversation easy to understand.

2. Global Business - it helps a transaction to be able to access all over the country and it
increases the business transaction.

3. Morale - an effective morale from a person would improve their communication skills with
others.

4. Team Building - having effective communication through team building may help the team
leader and members to understand each other and improve their skills and their trust with
each other.

5. Visuals - visual presentation would help a person to easily understand a discussion


because of the help of visual presentation.

6. One-on-one - face to face kind of communication helps a lot to a people to understand


another person’s thought and feelings.

7. Oral Presentation - with the use of oral presentation it helps a person to easily understand
what another person is thinking and saying.

8. Meeting - meeting is the combination of oral and visual presentation which is used to
discuss and plan some lessons or project by a company or by a group.

9. Tone of Voice - having a proper tone of voice would make it easy to understand and to
have a proper conversation with each other.

10. Articulate - it helps us to express our ideas clearly and easily to understand.

TASK 3 INTERGRATING WORDS


Directions: From the defined words and phrases in task 2, explain the connection of each
word by suing the defined words and phrases into a paragraph.

In team building it is important to have a visual and oral presentation to discuss it easily and
with the proper use of tone it helps it to clearly discuss and understand a discussion. In
meetings it’s also important to discuss a message in a clear and understanding way, it also
uses a one-on-one presentation or face to face to avoid or to help to reduce the barrier. In
global transaction it’s also important to have effective communication to easily understand
the transaction being discussed.
