1. What is Influencer Marketing?

The opening of social networks has allowed new ways of interacting with other people in this
globalized world. For this reason, influencers promote the use of different platforms in order to
create their own brand and impact the people who are their target audience.

Likewise, influencers make alliances with brands to promote products and services, this is very
convenient considering the level of influence on their following audience. This happens because of
the trust and closeness established between the influencer and his audience. In this sense,
influencers make use of a wide range of resources through stories, live broadcasts, posts, blogs,
among others.

2. How to Create an Effective Influencer Strategy?

The companies must investigate the influencer, this will allow choosing the right individual to carry
out the commercialization of the brand, it also provides a competitive advantage when choosing the
right person to carry out the advertising of the entity's brand.

Other strategies to consider:

• Closely follow the campaigns of the influencers to guarantee that the proposed agreement is
being fulfilled.
• Randomly audit influencers.
• Know the audience and the tastes that they have in front of a specific product or service.
• The company is responsible for carrying out the study of its clients and, therefore, it must
create personas of ideal clients or consumers, the above, to establish its target audience, in
this way the influencer can more easily market its brand.
• Set goals to assess the ongoing success of campaigns.
• Start with small but achievable goals.

Yes, influencers currently have the ability to impact their target audience and this may be due to the
apparent closeness they have with their community; By generating trust and empathy, people feel
the needs that their influencer mentions, in addition to wanting to buy or acquire the products or
services that the influencer consumes or suggests. For a company it is beneficial to establish
alliances with people who can promote their brand through various platforms and diverse
audiences.
