Concerning the requirements for electrical and electronic products (EEP) with respect to the production,
marketing and import for the Chinese economic area (China RoHS 2)

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of the People's Republic of China has published with validity
start on 1st of July 2016 the legal requirement "Management Methods for Restricting the Use of Hazardous Substances
in Electrical and Electronic Products" (Order No. 32 of 06th January 2016) "China RoHS 2".

The scope of China RoHS 2 affects the product portfolio of Murrelektronik GmbH and is defined as follows:
• All electrical and electronic products (EEP) with max. 1000 V AC and max. 1500 V DC
• All products with a manufacturing date from July 1st, 2016, which fall under the scope of China RoHS 2, must
be marked and, if the limit value is exceeded according to GB/T 26572-2011, also declared accordingly.

Concerning the scope of the law regulating the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and
electronic products under the title "Management Methods for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in
Electrical and Electronic Products" (China RoHS 2) the products of Murrelektronik GmbH are not subject to any further
obligations at present as regards to the "Compliance Management Catalog" referred in Article 3 (4) of this law.

Murrelektronik GmbH will comply with the declaration and labeling requirements with respect to the Chinese trade area
and accomplish them in accordance with the standard SJ/T 11364-2014. Since a large part of our products are
components for further processing, they are not subject to the mandatory labeling requirements.

The labeled parts do contain hazardous substances with a recommended 50-year EPUP (Environmental
Protection Use Period) and therefore do require a declaration table in accordance with the provisions of
SJ/T 11364-2014:
