Civil Rights Movements in 1960's

In this era, there are still many barriers in cross-culturalism.

For example in the case of the human rights movement between blacks and whites that
occurred in the 1960's, it can still be felt today. The reality is, in life in society, white people
still perceive that there is a difference with black people. Most white people think they are
better in all aspects than black people. In this case, related issues such as ethnocentrism,
stereotypes, and psychological barriers still exist.

- The ethnocentrism in this case is that white people think that their culture is better than
that of black people. This does not fit the context of equality
- Stereotypes of black people in the outside world still have the view that black people have
a harsh nature and are also rude in their behavior. One of the most well-known stereotypes
about America, is that the houses of the people are all big, luxurious, and very spacious, not
only that, Americans also have a stereotype that they only like to eat fast food, when
compared to Africans who tend to make their own food. .

In response to this, black people formed a community, where this community provided a
platform for all black people so that they could aspire to their opinions and also feel safe.
For example, Black Lives Matter.
Black Lives Matter is an example of a community that cares about black people. This Black
Lives Matter community does not only consist of black people but also white people who
care and also support equality in society.
