Indefinite pronouns
1 Find and underline four mistakes with
indefinite pronouns in the following text,
then correct them.
Last week, my dog Pablo ran off anywhere in the
park. I spent a few hours looking everywhere for
him, but he wasn’t anywhere. Then I made some
posters with a picture of him and my phone
number and I put them on bus stops and in shop
windows, but I didn’t hear something. I was sure
that anyone knew something about Pablo. On
Saturday, a man called me and said he saw a dog
like Pablo everywhere near the football stadium.
I ran over there and found him outside the
stadium. I was so happy to see him again.
2 Complete the conversation with the words
in the box. There are two extra words
which you don’t need.

Would you like to work in a zoo?
Working in a zoo is a really interesting job. I
never get bored because there is always (1)
