Poem – Search for Hope

The man searching for the island of hope sets off on his adventure.

After his years and years of thinking, he finally sets off to search for the lost island of hope.

Ever since he lost his family and everyone else he truly loved,

he sought to search for the legendary land of hope that is said to give any man or woman

in a state of sorrow, hope and the power to push through all their obstacles.

So off he goes to the land of hope, but for he knows that he was headed for the island of despair.

Years had gone by, and the townsfolk thought nothing of it, thinking that he had ended himself

out of depression, but he was stuck on a boat, and he was slowing wasting away.

And the little hope he had slowly dwindled into nothingness.

The man thought that he would spend his last breaths on this boat

surrounded by the endless seas with no food.

As the man's life and soul dwindled out of existence, he saw what he was searching for but,

it shocked him a lot after he realized that hope is inside you and you must believe in it and never

give up on it no matter what.

And he saw the sight of this beautiful town and all the townsfolk standing there

ready to help him and after his long journey.

He found the island of hope and learnt that it was with him all the time

and he just must believe it forever.

With that he lived the rest of his life as a happy old man with the power of the island of hope on

his side ready to support him when he needs it.
