Fleming brokered insurance setiements in the emount of approximately $4,305,000, A settlement agreement tpulated that $2,765,000 was designated for the Satterfield family. The Setterfield family were never notified of the settlements nor received any of the proceeds from them, and the settlement agreement was not properly filed inthe court record, ‘On May 13, 2019, Mr, Fleming wrote « check inthe amount of $2,961,91195 to “Forge”, The check was writen from an account belonging to the Moss, Kuba, and Fleming law fm. ‘The fim is located at 1501 North Street, Beaufor, SC. In that Mr. Murdaugh crested and owned bank account led “Forge” and directed Fleming to ‘write the check tit to deprive the Saterfeld family of insurance setlements owed to them by converting the $2,961,911.95 to Mr. Murdaugh’s own use. “Forge Consulting, LLC” isa legitimate company that handles insurance settlements; however, it isnot affiliated withthe Sarid setlement, nor the acount ‘owned by Mr. Murdaugh.
