Right now, in America there is the midterm election, and who to vote for?

These elections are for

Congress, which is made up of two parts, the House of Representatives and the Senate.
Joe Biden, the president of America, spoke out to the people, because he believes that, equality and
democracy are quote on quote under assault. Not everyone has accepted the fact that Biden is
president, some people are very against, because Trump is still convincing people, the MAGA
Republicans, that he won, and they are assaulting not only people, but also the white house on the
January 6th, and they are not giving up anytime soon.

In the beginning of the speech, he clearly points out where he is, and why it is important.
He is at the Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here he already uses an anaphora
(line 2-4), to stress how important the Independence Hall is because, that is where the Declaration
of Independence, and the US Constitution were made.
He points out early on, that equality and democracy are under assault, and how important these two
are for America, he says, “They are how we became the greatest nation on Earth”. (line 6-ish)
Here he really points out how important they are, and that is why he as a president decides to do a
speech about this matter, but also because of the midterm elections, he wants the people to vote for
what is best for America.
Right after he talks about Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, because they are the reason
why equality and democracy are under assault according to Biden, and he wants people to know
that they are a threat to the country. He does not say that he is against all Republicans, only Trump
and the MAGA Republicans, also because he very clearly states in the speech, “I’m an American
President — not the President of red America or blue America, but of all America.”
By clearly stating that he is a president of all America, Biden is also trying to speak to the people of
America that might be against him, he wants all of America to know what is going on and why it is
wrong. He also says at one point, “And I believe it is my duty — my duty to level with you, to tell the
truth no matter how difficult, no matter how painful.” (Page 3-ish). Here he is also talking to the
ones who are against him, because they don’t want to believe in what he is saying. By saying that
he wants to tell the truth no matter how difficult and painful it might be to hear, means that even
though they don’t agree with him, they need to realize the truth, because he wants the people of
America to vote for the right candidates, he want them to vote for a better America where equality
and democracy isn’t under assault.
Throughout most of the speech, he talks a lot about the MAGA Republicans.
Its i very clear that Biden wants the people to respect the outcome of the election, he is especially
talking to the people against it at one point.
He is especially talking a lot about equality and trying to make everyone included.
He has many good points, and he is very good at saying what the people wants to hear, or said in
other words what he definitely should say.
