WHO IS THE EVENT AIMED AT? Dedicated especially to public servants who carefully
accompany populations in vulnerable situations so that
they can know about the meditation as a tool of life that
can help to reduce stress, negative thoughts, depression,
anger, among others.

ABOUT THE WORK CARRIED OUT BY The Mechanism for the Comprehensive Protection of
INSTITUTIONS THAT ATTEND Human Rights Defenders and Journalists of Mexico City
MEDITATION is responsible for granting prevention and protection
measures to human rights defenders and journalists who
find themselves in a situation of violence, aggression,
threats or risk as a result of their activity. In Latin
America, Mexico is one of the most dangerous countries
to engage in the defense of human rights or journalism.

The Council to Prevent and Eliminate Discrimination of


Mexico City works in favor of the right to equality and
non-discrimination in Mexico City, in particular of those
population groups potentially vulnerable to being victims
of discrimination, such as indigenous people, women, the
elderly, and young people, LGBTTTI population, among
others. They also provide care to people who have
suffered discrimination and carry out actions of
promotion, dissemination, education and promote
reforms in the City's legislation.

The Executing Body of the Comprehensive Human Rights


System of Mexico City guides and articulates government
agencies and civil society in Mexico City in the creation,
implementation and timely, efficient and effective
evaluation of public policies that impact exercise of
human rights.
