Start crocheting the base for upper garments with mint-colored yarn and turn your work with
every row to alternate crocheting from right to left and vice versa.

Join at row 17 to crochet in the round as we saw in Lesson 4 of Unit 3.

Collar
Add yarn to the other side of the starting chains for the dress and crochet the collar using
beige cotton yarn.

Add new yarn

Sleeves
Add mint yarn at the arm holes created by the chain stitches and distribute 14 single crochet
stitches.

Crochet 6 rows of 14 single crochet stitches and 1 row with 14 slip stitches. Fasten off and hide
the loose ends.

Make the second sleeve by repeating this process on the other side.
