A letter of advice (an informal letter)

Your pen friend complains he/she feels bored and unhappy at home during the pandemia.

He/she cannot organize his/her day because of a new daily routine and asks for advice.

Write a letter in response in which:

1) Thank your friend for his/her letter.

2) Write about your routine at present.
3) Give advice on time management.
4) Tell about your plans for the future.

Dear…

Thanks a lot for…

I’m very touched that…

The oldest and the wisest book in the world, the Bible, says: “Plans fail when there is no consultation. But there is
accomplishment through many advisers.” (Proverbs 15:22)

As for me, I created a new routine. I get up… and go to bed… . During the day, apart from online classes and homework, I
give time to… . From this experience, I’ve noticed… . I realized that we may enjoy being at home instead of going out to
hang out with friends.

So, I spend my free time with… . I feel that is an opportunity to try new things and I try my hand at… .Twice a week I … .
I’ve set a time limit for… and always stick to it.

When the pandemia is over, I’ll be more grateful for… . I hope I’ll be able to… .

I hope my letter will be… for you. Let me know what you think.

Take care.
