well as that patient’s medical history, test results, vaccinations, and other medical
history. Comprehensive and accurate medical records empower healthcare professionals to
treat patients to the best of their ability. Every single available detail is important because all
accumulated information can contribute to diagnosis and treatment. The importance of
Medical records are Meticulous medical recordkeeping helps health care providers manage their
patients and share medical information with other medical specialists. This is crucial for ensuring that
each patient is cared for correctly and with regard to that patient’s personal history. It facilitate good
care. Medical Records allow a subsequent caregiver to understand the patient's condition and
the basis for the current investigations or treatments. Its nice to know that its provide a method
of communicating with other team members in able to have good relationship. Because of
Medical records its satisfy legal and ethical obligations: medical regulatory authority (College),
hospital, and legislative requirements for clear and legible records. Lastly it’s act as evidence: if
your care is later questioned, it shows events as they happened.
