1.

Sin can be defined as setting ourselves and our choices against God’s will and against the
good of others. It has painful consequences not only for individuals but also for the society.
How so?
- Sin, my definition for this is that sin is the things you’re doing wrong as you live here on earth.
Sin is rejection of God's law or will and substitute of one's own will and refusing to obey the
holy authority. According to God's Word, sin is enjoyable for a while, but we must realize that
the long-term costs exceed the short-term benefits. God desires that His people live in
accordance with His principles so that we can lead fruitful, prosperous, and productive lives that
show others about Him. Hence, if we intentionally do something we know we shouldn't do or
intentionally refrain from doing what we know we should, we are guilty of sin. According to
many perspectives, whether or not we follow through with that endorsement and conduct the
activity, we also commit sin when we internally support an immoral action. According to some
perspectives, Christianity also accepts inadvertent or involuntary sins, contending that some
emotions and desires can be immoral even if they are not entirely within our direct control.
2. Sin can cut me off from God and can turn me against my neighbor. Explain.

- - As for the believers they instantly denied the invitation since they other things to do.
They think that the they’re doing is more important rather than accepting the invitation.
On the other hand, the unbelievers who are invited quickly accept the invitation since our
Father knows that these people will realize their lives are empty and have brought them
nothing but sorrow. People may purposefully make up a story or incorrect information.
But most of the time, lying is not the result of pure imagination. Instead, lies are spread
by exaggeration, denial of the truth, and omission of information. Or, in order to maintain
a friendship, they could pretend to agree with others when they actually disagree. Self-
serving lies, on the other hand, enable liars to achieve their goals, improve their
appearance, or avoid criticism or disgrace. After the judgment and the resurrection, those
who have been faithful to God's plan of life and salvation go to heaven, which is the
kingdom of God. Contrary to popular belief, a person does not need to only believe in
God and be morally upright and pure in order to be admitted to the kingdom of heaven.
This is made abundantly obvious in the parable the Savior spoke about the 10 virgins and
their desire to enter the kingdom of heaven. If the rich man will submit his heart and
affections to the law of God and to the principle of truth; if he will fix his affections and
his hopes on the things of this world instead of placing them on God and the fulfillment
of God's purposes; and if he will place his affections upon God, his heart upon the truth,
and his soul upon the accomplishment of God's purposes.

1. Lita, your close friend, has been saying bad things about you behind your back. You
came to know this from another friend. You want so much to get even by revealing to
your other friends the secrets Lita has entrusted to you. Guided by respect for human
dignity, will you do it or will you not? Why?
- It's understandable to feel deceived and bitter because Lita, a personal friend, disparaged me
behind my back. Personally, I believe it is still unfair to divulge what a buddy has confided to
me to others. It is endowed with integrity, which means that it will keep its word and maybe
support the importance of human dignity. We won't be any different from one other if I use
acts and decisions like this to get revenge on her. If I continue to be consumed by rage, I
should rather turn to prayer for direction and peace because both do not take morality
seriously and respect each person's dignity and morals. In Matthew 26:23–25, Jesus confirms
the identity of the traitor: "The Son of Man goes, even as it is written of him, but woe to that
man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed!. So I will not be shocked nor angry for it is
stated in the bible that betrayal happens in this life. I will leave it to God for He is the one
who has authority in judging someone.

2. As a resident in an upscale subdivision, you have plenty of water because your

subdivision has a deep well. The fee for water consumption is incorporated in your
monthly subdivision maintenance dues. If you use the water wastefully, are you
exercising true freedom? Justify your answer.
- No since true freedom means the Christian worldview holds that real freedom is not about doing
anything you want without restraint, but about developing the correct desires and following God’s plan.
In other words, when our desires line up with God’s will, we experience freedom. Based on this phrase it
said that true freedom must line up in God’s will. Using water wastefully does not align in God’s will.
Christ has released us in order to live in freedom. "Because one who has died has been set free from sin,"
the verse reads. "So stand steady and do not allow yourselves to be enslaved once more by a yoke of
servitude." This is the “TRUE FREEDOM” for us but in human thinking the freedom to think and feel as
you want, whenever you want, is the freedom that no one—aside from yourself—can rob you of. In
general, we think that how we feel is caused by the actions of other people, things, and circumstances.
That’s why we are being deceived for what is true freedom stands for.
