FELIX MENDELSSOHN ... * Was a German composer who lived from 1809 to 1847. * Began piano lessons at the age of six and wrote lots of music from a young age. * Was a good artist ~ he liked painting the beautiful places he'd visited in watercolours. * Drew cartoons in letters to his friends. * His music is in the Romantic style - often expressing feelings and thoughts.
