Maximum permissible errors

The maximum permissible errors (G) are defined by the equations set out below; the values
obtained must be rounded to two decimals.
These values are valid for measurements made without inversion of the measuring force.
For all other types of measurements, including those performed with depth rods, the values
obtained must be increased by 20 μm.
Vernier calipers with dial or nonius with the value of a division 0.01 0.05 mm:
G = (20 + 1/10 mm) μ ≥ 50 μm.
