Order Acknowledgments Letter
Acknowledgments arc sent to let people who order goods know the
status of their orders. Most acknowledgments are routine. They simply
tell when tue goods are being shipped. Many companies use form or
computer-generated messages for such situations. Some use printed,
standard notes with check-off or write-in blanks. But individually
written acknowledgments are sometimes justified, especially with ,
new accounts or large orders.

I held my company's annual holiday party at your facility on the evening of December 12. I have now received the in for the event, in the
amount of $1,410. While the food was exceptional, I am sorry to say that we did not have a good experience. The room we were given for the
event was Salon C. As you know, the room has no windows and is not one of your more attractive rooms- Because we had made our reservation
two months in advance, I had hoped for a more pleasant environment for this special event. The location also had the drawback of making the
temperature hard to control. The servers were sympathetic but were apparently unable to keep the room from getting too warm. This made
for an uncomfortable evening for my 27 employees. It also appeared that not enough servers had been scheduled for our party. The fare was
elegant, but it was served with such ragged timing that some guests had finished eating before others had even started. We also had to start
the after-dinner program in the !'o of the meal. Overall, the event was not a very impressive thank-you to my hard-working employees. In
light of these circumstances. I am requesting a revised invoice of $1,000. I believe this is a fair amount for an experience that I am sure did
not -represent the Regal's typical level of customer service.

Thank you for your letter about our Go Glow Torch and its non-functional switches. As per your complaint, we are supposed to repair or replace it as per the
terms and conditions provided in the warranty card. We totally agree with the terms and conditions offered by us.
However, we have found out that the Go Glow Torch purchased by you stands out of warranty as per our records. We request you to go through the warranty
card once again.
Once you are satisfied with our opinion we are willing to repair it for a fee of 200 rs if and when you want to. Our representative will pick up the equipment
