Definition of Terms

(I) Judgement - the process of forming an opinion or forming an evaluation through discernment
and comparison to make well-considered decisions and reach reasonable conclusions

(J) Literature – writings in which expression and form, in connection with ideas of permanent and
universal interest , are characteristics or essential features as poetry, novels, history , biography and
essays.

(K) Modern Society- defined as people living together in current time.

(L) Profession- a paid occupation, especially one that involves prolonged training and a formal
qualification,

(M) Scope – the extent of the subject matter that something deals with or to which it is relevant.

(N) Self-Efficacy – is a concept that refers to an individual’s belief in their capacity to execute
behaviors necessary to produce specific performance attainments .

(O) Senior High School – is the last phase in implementation of the K-12 program . It covers grades
11 and 12 . in this level students are required to choose from four general programs or tracks . under each
program , there are various strands to specialize in .

(P) Students – a person enrolled in a educational institution and who is learning with goals of
acquiring knowledge, developing professions and achieving employment in desired field.

(Q) Uncertainty – lack of sureness about something or someone.

(R) Youth - the period between childhood and adult age.
