Local venues such as Zorilla,Principe Alfonso, Variedades, Quiapo, and Tondo Theaters host Italian operas that would grace
our country back then. Other venues, such as the Manila Grand Opera House and the Metropolitan Theater, were later
constructed to cater to our country's growing opera culture.
