Weekly Concerts to Take Over World’s Fair Park in October

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- Four concerts featuring popular headlining artists are taking place in
World’s Fair Park this fall as a part of Visit Knoxville’s “Sunsphere Sundays” to benefit the
Sunsphere Fund. In association with the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and
Born & Raised Productions, this concert series will feature the bands COIN, Dawes, The Lone
Bellow, and St. Paul & the Broken Bones on the performance lawn of World’s Fair Park each
Sunday at 6 p.m. in October.

Admission to each concert will be $10, and proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative
Covid test result within 72 hours of the event will be required upon entry. Gates to the events
will open at 5 p.m., and each performance will begin at 6 p.m., rain or shine. Tickets to each
concert are sold separately and are final. Many favorite Knoxville food and beverage vendors
will be on site, so be sure to plan for a good night of music, food, and fun!

“Sunsphere Sundays is a new initiative to bring a sense of community in the aftermath of a

period of isolation and separation from the arts. Live performances are essential to the
celebration of music, and what better way is there to do it than in Knoxville’s own backyard? We
are so excited to welcome these amazing bands to our Scruffy City, and to see them perform
outdoors in a safe way,” said Visit Knoxville CEO Katherine Smith.

A portion of all sales will benefit the Sunsphere Fund, which was established in association with
Knox County and the City of Knoxville to maintain the historic Sunsphere structure. The fund
works to preserve the structure for the enjoyment of groups and individuals for generations to
come.
