    . B -A “If you would like to buy my watch’ --- offer or an itt
    .A- B “would like to inspect it ‘? ( statement of intention )
    .B- A ( visits the shop and states “it is yours for 10,000’( offer )
    .A- B “it’s a lot for me”( IF Counter offer or a further step in negotiations )
    .B- A ‘offer open until 4thMarch ( Effect of the offer /lapse of offer )
    2 March ---
    A – B ( wanted to buy it for 8,000 which B rejected ) ( if counter offer )
    A – B ( would buy for 10,000 , and would assume acceptance if no reply by
    tomorrow ) – left message on the answering machine –( issues involved , offer ,
    acceptance , communication of acceptance (instanataneous communication )
    .B sold watch to C ( no legal issues arise , he was free to sell the watch to C
