The journey of a baby bear finding love and a new home.

Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel!

Today we will recap a movie about a young bear who travels to London from the jungle of Peru,
searching for a new home.
So, let's get started!
Forty years ago, an explorer came to the jungles of Peru in search of rare species of bears.
After getting to know the bears, he acknowledges that they are intelligent and can learn the
English language. He names them Lucy and Pastuzo, and later he decides not to collect their
specimens. He introduces them to marmalade’s taste, and they instantly fall in love. He invites
them to visit London once because it is so nice and hospitable. While returning to London, he
gives them his hat as a souvenir.

Several years have passed since the researcher came to their jungle, and now the couple
makes tasty marmalade for themself. They are living in harmony with their little nephew when
one day, an earthquake rocks the jungle, forcing them to take shelter underground. Uncle
Pastuzo cannot reach the shelter because he is trapped by a fallen tree, resulting in severe
injuries; he subsequently dies due to those injuries. The next morning, Aunt Lucy and the baby
bear discover that their home has been demolished, and they are all alone. They both get very
sad, and aunt Lucy decides to send the young bear away to London to find a new home while
she decides to admit herself to a home for retired bears. Lucy gives him the cap of the
researcher that had visited them several years ago, hoping that he will let the little bear stay at
his house.

Lucy takes the little bear to the ship and places him on a lifeboat with a huge supply of
marmalade. The little bear eats all the marmalade until he arrives at the London train station
after a long journey on the boat.

When the young bear reaches the Paddington train station, he feels lonely and unwanted. He
tries to get the attention of many strangers in the hope of finding a home, but no one listens to
him. He sits alone and shares his marmalade sandwich with pigeons. Luckily, the brown family
passes by him and shows interest in him. The brown family consists of Mr. Henry, his wife Mary,
and their two children, Judy and Jonathan. They have mixed feelings toward him. But they
decide to take him in for a night, and then they will find him a new home.

The brown family lives with their relative, Mrs. Bird’s house, a very nice and caring lady. They
ask him to go to the washroom and freshen up. This is a new experience for him, and he knows
nothing about it. He starts exploring the things and mistakenly stuffs a toothbrush in his ears and
pulls out earwax. Curiously he licks the ear wax and feels disgusted. To get the foul taste away,
he drinks a whole bottle of mouthwash. Alcohol burns his mouth, and he puts his face in the
toilet bowl and sticks his head in it. Later he breaks the shower head and causes a flood that
fills the bathroom with water. He feels helpless for the chaos he has caused. When Mr. Brown
notices something is wrong, he enters the bathroom only to be greeted with a big wave of water.
Jonathan thinks that the act of Paddington is amazing, as his parents act very protective of him
and do not let him do anything fun.

A monkey is presented to Millicent, the director of the Natural History Museum, and She looks at
the monkey with a smile as she has an evil plan of killing and preserving it. When the man
delivering the monkey informs her about marmalade footprints around the boat, she gets
interested in this case. Because she understands what the man is talking about. She grabs a
knife and swings it at a picture of the researcher and Paddington’s relatives.

During his stay, Paddington learns a lot about the Browns. When Mary observes Paddington's
cap, he tells her the whole story, and she tells him that she knows a man who deals in antiques
and perhaps he can help them.

After the washroom incident, Henry wants to get rid of Paddington, but Mary lies to him and
instead takes Paddington to the antique shop. As the man examines the hat, a pickpocket
enters and steals another customer's wallet. He drops it on his way out when he sees
Paddington watching him. Paddington runs after him to return the wallet, this scares the robber,
and he starts running even faster. Paddington accidentally picks up a police cap as he tries to
catch the man. The man finally stops as he falls to the ground, and several wallets fall. The
police and everyone think Paddington ran to stop the robber, so they applaud him, and he
becomes famous. When he returns to the antique shop, the other customers congratulate him
for finding their stolen wallets. The shopkeeper, after some inspection, tells them that the hat
belongs to an explorer’s guild and that they can get more information at the guild.

Henry accompanies Paddington to the guild's offices, where the secretary informs them that
there are no records of any expedition to Peru. Paddington then disguises Henry as a maid to
sneak into the computer room and check their archives. They discovered that there were a few
records on Peru that were destroyed. Paddington then clogs the message delivery system by
mistake, which messes everything up, so both he and Henry flee the scene.

Millicent keeps trying to pursue Paddington further. She even gets assistance from the Browns'
neighbor Mr. Curry, who decides to help her find the bear and send him back to his home.

The children soon develop a nice bond with the bear, and they teach other different things. They
also bathe Paddington; they all seem happy with him. The parents observe how much the kids
like Paddington and consider keeping him around for longer.

One day while the Browns are away, Paddington is alone at home. Millicent learns about this
from Mr. Curry, and she attempts to enter and kidnap him. With her gas mask on, Paddington
notices her, misidentifies her as an elephant, and flees. During the struggle, they unintentionally
set a fire inside the house. Millicent manages to flee before anyone notices. Henry is furious at
Paddington when the Browns arrive and decides that Paddington must leave.
As he decides to track Mr. Clyde on his own, Paddington writes a note for the Browns
apologizing for the difficulty he has created for them. The Browns discover the note, and
everyone blames Henry for driving Paddington away. Mary considers him to be the best thing
that has happened to her family.

The bear searches the entire town for anyone named Montgomery Clyde without success. He
finally finds a woman who declares herself to be Clyde’s daughter. Paddington enters her
house and soon recognizes Millicent's voice as his attacker from the other day. She kidnaps
them and throws them into her van. Mr. Curry notices this and learns about her real objectives,
that she was fooling him only to get Paddington. She turns down his love advances and departs.
Mr. Curry then phones the Browns to inform them that Paddington is in danger.

Millicent takes Paddington to the museum, where she discloses that she is Clyde's daughter. He
was disgraced and expelled from the guild for failing to bring the bears back from Peru. He
started a petting zoo, but Millicent was angry, so she wanted to finish what her father left
unfinished. As the Browns and Mrs. Bird arrive at the museum, Millicent prepares to stuff
Paddington. They turn off the electricity while Mrs. Bird plays to distract the security guards so
they can sneak in. Henry jumps through the window, finds Paddington's chamber, and tries to
help him escape. On the other hand, Millicent turns the power back on and discovers the
family's damp footprints, realizing someone is here to save the bear.

Paddington tries to reach the roof through the furnace, but Millicent turns it on. He was climbing
up with small vacuums, but the heat made him lose traction, and he was about to fall when the
Browns grasped his hands and pulled him up. Millicent reaches the roof and confronts the
Browns. Paddington notices a flock of birds nearby, so he takes out his marmalade sandwich
from his hat and tosses it into the air, allowing the birds to circle Millicent and overpower her.
Millicent survives the bird's attack, but luckily, Mrs. Bird arrives there and opens a door that
pushes Millicent over the roof, but she grabs a flagpole and survives. Paddington is saved and
goes to live with the Brown family.

In the end, Paddington writes another letter to Aunt Lucy, informing her of the current events.
Millicent was fired as museum director and asked to do community service at her father's petting
zoo. The Browns are doing much better now that they have formally welcomed Paddington as a
family member. Paddington then goes outside to have fun with the Brown family.
