House of women

Exposition:

Detective Marata received a call at 7:09 pm from a young woman panicking who said that her
grandmother was murdered! Detective Marata asked her to stay calm and asked for her address and
went there right away.

Rising Action:

At 7:25, 16 minutes after the call, Detective Marata arrived. The victim’s body was found by Maid Lyn
when she went to Old Lady Tasha’s bedroom to tell her it was dinner time at 7:07 pm but instead found
her lying face down with a knife in her back! But when Detective Marata went to check the crime scene,
the door was locked!

Climax:

Detective Marata then questioned the 5 suspects, Maid Lyn, Miss Latasha(grandchild of victim), Miss
Elyn(daughter of victim), Miss Desi(daughter of victim), and Miss Gayle(grandchild of victim).

Miss Latasha, the one who called her said that she was in her room all day and had not seen Old Lady
Tasha at all, and was at the dining room during the time of murder. Maid Lyn said that the last time she
saw Old Lady Tasha, not when she found her unalive, was at around 5:30 pm to tell her that she was
resigning. And that she was cooking dinner after talking with Old Lady Tasha, so it could not have been
her. Miss Elyn said that the last time she saw Old Lady Tasha was at around 6:15 pm when she needed
to discuss personal matters with her but was interrupted by Miss Desi who came to give their mother,
Old Lady Tasha, her medicine, after Miss Desi left Miss Elyn said that she didn’t muster up the courage to
tell her mother about it so she left as well. After questioning Miss Desi, Detective Marata was able to
confirm that their statements matched. And lastly, Miss Gayle said that she only just arrived home after
a 1-week vacation in Paris at 7:05 pm so that would mean she last saw Old Lady Tasha a week ago.
Detective asked the other Ladies to confirm Miss Gayle’s statement and they said that she told the
truth. Detective Marata looked around the house for clues and even went outside when she learned the
truth.

Falling Action:

She gathered all the women in the living room(excluding Old Lady Tasha) and said that there was no
murder. Maid Lyn asked shockingly how she came to that conclusion especially when she was the one
who found Old Lady Tasha dead. Detective Marata explained that the door to Old Lady Tasha’s room
was locked for a reason, and that reason was for them not to know she was actually alive, how does she
know this? When she went outside she saw an old lady in the window who she did not recognize, and
realized was Old Lady Tasha. She then explained that Miss Latasha wasn’t in her room, she was hiding
somewhere in Old Lady Tasha’s room listening to the conversations, and helped Old Lady Tasha fake the
crime scene with a broken knife and fake blood. Miss Elyn then asked how is she so sure that Latasha
was with Old Lady Tasha the whole time then? Detective Marata then grinned and revealed the biggest
secret of all, SHE WAS NOT AN ACTUAL DETECTIVE, SHE WAS LATASHA’S FRIEND, TERELYN. BEFORE
RECEIVING THE CALL FROM LATASHA CLAIMING THAT OLD LADY TASHA WAS KILLED, LATASHA
MESSAGED HER SAYING THAT THEY WANTED TO PULL A PRANK ON THEIR FAMILY BY FAKING OLD LADY
TASHA’S MURDER AND SAID THAT IF SHE AGREES TO HELP THEM, THEN LATER LATASHA WOULD
PRETEND TO CALL THE POLICE BUT INSTEAD CALLED HER. Miss Elyn got mad, Miss Desi fainted in shock,
Miss Gayle gasped horrendously, Maid Lyn’s jaw dropped, Old Lady Tasha went downstairs, while
Latasha and Terelyn just laughed.

Exposition:

After the chaos ended, Miss Elyn asked why they would do such a thing and prank them. Old Lady Tasha
said she wanted to see how they would react if she died because she felt as if they were abandoning
her, Latasha told her about the plan and Old Lady Tasha agreed to the idea of her fake murder. They had
an emotional family bonding moment and went to sleep and life went on and on. THE END!!! FINALLY!!!
