each week, an increase of five and a half hours from last year. Some people

potential relationships between music and positive prosocial behaviors. In
particular, research suggests that three aspects of music — its emotional
resonance, its lyrical content, and its unique way of synchronizing groups of
people — may have the power to invoke good deeds. Here is a list of research-
tested ways that music can have a positive impact on you and your world.

1-Listening to uplifting music may make you happier—and possibly

more generous:-
We all felt when listening to sad music that it might make us cry while cheerful
music might make us feel happy and musician would also do giving and
generosity. the petition

empathic-:
Studies of people who listened to music with touching words (such as "peace
on earth to everyone you meet") and girls were more likely to think about
social ideas than those who listened to songs with neutral lyrics. In another
study where people who listened to music with positive words chose more
pencils for an experimenter who pretended to accidentally pour them in, they
were more likely to agree to more unpaid experiments and spent more time
doing them, and gave more money away In an economic game when
compared to people who listened to music with neutral lyrics.

3-Listening to prosocial songs may change how you spend your

money-:
In one experiment, nearly 800 restaurant customers ate lunch or dinner while
listening to music with positive lyrics, music with neutral lyrics, or music not
selected for its lyrical content. Diners who listened to prosocial music were
significantly more likely to drop a tip and their advice was greater than the
advice of others. Music has changed our behavior in the tunnels

from you-:

and your opinion of others being different from you for the better. A study
found that when people listened to a song with pro-social lyrics, they had less
aggressive thoughts and acceptance of others’ opinions compared to those
who listened to a song with neutral words

5-Making and moving to music may boost cooperation and

connection-:
There are several studies that suggest that dancing to music with others can
promote prosocial behavior. In one study, four-year-olds acted more
cooperatively and positively after making music together compared to children
who participated in another activity with similar levels of social and language
interaction. So, music can do a lot of good things.
