EI Rey del Paso Ray Lombrette Full score HarmonieEL REY DEL PASO — Ray Lombrette Nederlands: Zoals de titel aangeeft, wordt dit werk voor harmonie-/fanfareorkest door een typisch Spacnse tempo gekenmerkt: een pasodoble. In kleine terts toonaard geschreven is de inleiding boordevol dynamiek. Vervolgens worden kleine ritmische cellen op succesvolle wijze verwerkt om de compositie de gewenste sfeer te bezorgen. De afwisselende klanken en ritmes volgen elkaar op en plaatsen alle groepen binnen het orkest in de schijnwerpers. De indrukwekkende “bassen” worden gevolgd door schrille trompetten, waarna de houtblazers een meer gedragen melodie brengen. Daarna worden de “grote terts” en “kleine terts” karakteristieken met elkaar gecombineerd wat aan deze compositie precies de specifieke “charme” van de pasodoble geeft. English: As the title already suggests, this piece for wind band is written in the typical Spanish style: paso doble. Written in a minor key, the introduction is very dynamic. Little rhythmical fragments are so arranged in order to achieve the right mood. Various sound and rhythmical effects place each instrumental group in the spotlight. Impressive basses are followed by high brass, after which the woodwind players play a more solemn melody. Then the major key and minor key elements are combined to give the composition the specific charm of the paso doble. Deutsch Wie der Titel andeutet, wird dieses Stiick fir Sinfonisches Blasorchester (Harmonie-orchester) durch ein typisches spanisches Tempo charakterisiert: es handelt sich um einen Paso doble. ‘Obwohl in moll geschrieben, ist die Introduktion sehr dynamisch. Kleine rhythmische Zellen werden nacheinander auf ganz erfolgreicher Weise bearbeitet und so erhiilt die Komposition die gewinschte Atmosphére.Die abwechselnden Kléinge und Rhythmen folgen nacheinander und alle Orchestergruppen stehen im Rampenlicht. Nach den eindrucksvollen “Bassen” erklingen die schrillen Trompeten und dann bringen die Holzbléser eine getragene Melodie. Nachher werden ,moll" und ,Dur" einander gegenibergestellt und so bekommt diese Kompostion ganz genau den eigentiimlichen Charme des Paso doble. En effet, de petites cellules rythmiques sont exploitées avec succés donnant ainsi & la composition l'ambiance souhaitée. Les alternances de sonorités, de rythmes se succédent mettant en évidence tous les pupitres de Vorchestre : les Basses imposantes, les Trompettes éclatantes puis les Bois rassurant. Par la suite les caractéres "majeurs" et "mineurs" sont confrontés, donnant ainsi & cette composition tout le charme caractéristique du "pasodoble". Piccoli frammenti ritmici vengono elaborati fino a raggiungere l'atmosfera desiderata. Vari suoni effetti ritmici mettono in mostra tutte le sezioni della banda. Bassi energici si contrappongno a trombe acute, con i legni che espongono la melodia pid solenne.
