Breathing Air
Booster Systems
MINI UNIT
MAXPRO breathing air booster systems are ideal for use in municipal
fire departments that utilize a multi-stage mechanical compressor
with purification and storage cylinders. These oil-free booster systems
require no lubrication and are able to produce output pressures to
4,500 psi, even with the storage cylinder pressure as low as 300 psi.
This eliminates the need for cascade valving. Using the medium
pressure purifiers and storage cylinders already existing, connect
supply to the inlet of the system for boosting to final desired pressure.
MAXPRO systems feature automatic controls for unattended operation
and may be driven by truck or shop air, to 145 psi max., or directly
from the air storage system (a high pressure drive regulator is
included). Three breathing air booster system models are available
to meet your specific needs.

Breathing Air
Booster Systems
MAX UNIT
These oil-free breathing air gas booster systems from MAXPRO
are designed for industrial plant fire and safety departments or other
fire departments that utilize pure air in 2,200 psi cylinders. Systems
may also be utilized to fill SCBA tanks or “escape” units (with the
use of specialized adapters). Select systems allow pump-down of a
supply cylinder to a low 150 psi, as output is boosted to 5,000 psi
max. MAXPRO breathing air booster systems require no lubrication
and include all necessary tubing, fittings, controls and gauges for
turnkey operation. Installed in a sturdy tubular frame, the MAXPRO
system may be floor or bench mounted. These systems include
automatic controls for unattended operation and may be driven by
plant or truck compressed air – requiring no electrical connection.
Four booster system models are available for selection.

Oxygen
Booster Systems
MAXPRO oxygen booster systems are designed for use in numerous
ground support O2 applications including filling industrial fire
department tanks, scuba cylinders, airline onboard oxygen cylinders
and other industrial applications. These systems may also be utilized
to collect and transfer gas from partially filled cylinders to top off other
cylinders. Single and two-stage booster systems are available and no
electrical connections are needed. The boosters are designed for
lubrication-free performance, and the high pressure oxygen chambers
are sealed and vented for hydrocarbon-free operation. Cold air exhaust
by-product is directed through a system of cooling jackets and an
interstage cooler, thereby lowering temperatures and ensuring the
durability of critical seals. Four oxygen booster system models
are offered.

Nitrogen
Booster Systems
Nitrogen booster systems from MAXPRO are for use in servicing
the high-pressure onboard nitrogen bottles on aircraft equipped with
inflatable “pop floats”. Other applications include tire filling, shock
strut servicing and precharging hydraulic accumulators. The single
and two-stage models are both designed to operate from a single gas
source and a regulator with gauge is provided to operate the drive
section of the booster at pressures up to 145 psi. Two-stage model
MTNB6-15-75 is designed for nitrogen charging up to 6,000 psi.
Single stage model MTNB3-30 is designed for nitrogen charging up
to 3,000 psi. These lightweight, portable systems offer ease of use
by one operator.
