Course descriptor

A -Level
In this term the units covered are motion in a circle, gravitational fields, temperature,
ideal gases, thermodynamics, oscillations, electric fields, capacitance, magnetism
and alternating currents.
The skills developed during the learning of these units include organizing, analysing
information manipulation of numerical and other data, making predictions and
constructing arguments, and solving problems. Practical works suggested by
Cambridge were covered which will help them to plan, analyze and evaluate
experiments. Questions from Papers 4 and 5 are included in the assessments which
covered the assessment objectives, Knowledge and understanding, Handling,
applying and evaluating information and Experimental skills and investigations

Gr 10
In this term topics, motion, forces & energy, thermal physics, waves, electricity and
magnetism and nuclear physics are covered. Students developed the skills to
organize, present information, manipulate numerical and other data, use the
information to identify patterns, report trends and draw inferences, make predictions
and solve problems. Practical works suggested by Cambridge were covered which
will help them to plan, analyse and evaluate experiments. Questions from papers 2,
4 and 5 are included in assessments which covered the assessment objectives,
Knowledge and understanding, Handling, applying and evaluating information and
