Dist. 3261 AMember of Rotary International, Rotary Club of Raipur Cosmopolitan, was installed to nurture the True Rotary Spirit of Service above Self. Since its Inception, Rotary Club of Raipur Cosmopolitan has been dedicatedly working to serve the deprived. The Club celebrated Glorious 25 Years of Service in 2021 During these years the Club has also worked well to spread awareness and bring about progressive changes in various fields of service, be it Environment Protection, Pulse Polio, Service to Younger Generation, Renovating and Managing Government Health Centre, Adopting, Renovating & Managing Government Primary School, Setting up Medical Camps, Organizing Awareness Programs, Scholarship & Medical aid and many more. The Club also put in tireless efforts to raise an Impressive Rs. 1.8 million for the construction of a Vocational Training School for the poor and needy. The Club has recreated the first Happy School Project of Chhattisgarh by Renovating Rotary Cosmo Government Primary School, Doomartalab. This School is ‘Adopted and Managed by The Club. The Club has Constructed Rotary Cosmo D.P. Ward a 60 Bedded 3 Storey Debilitated Patient Ward for the poor & needy at Medical College Campus, Raipur at a cost of Rs. 1.10 Crore. During The COVID Pandemic Period, Hospital Administration has used this building as the Main COVID Hospital run by the Government, due to proximity to the main Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Hospital. By far, this is the most prestigious project of the Club. The Club is also working on @ Mega Project, which is the construction and establishment of a Schoo! & Training Centre for the underprivileged children; particularly those who have lost their parents/ family members.
