ROSE FESTIVAL IN SAPA

The highlight of this summer's series of events is the Rose Festival, held by Sun World Fansipan Legend in the last week
of April, lasting until the end of the National Reunification and May Day holiday. First held in Sa Pa in 2022, the festival
is strongly impressed by its elaborate and extremely eye-catching. This year, the festival comebacks with grand scale, as
well as some special art performances, promising to bring visitors unforgettable experiences in the journey to discover
Sapa this summer.
The rose valley has an area of up to 50,000 metres square and consists of more than 300,000 roses, including over 150 the
most famous rose variety in Sapa, Vietnam and the world.
And yet, also in the activities of the Rose Festival, there will be a parade in all the streets of the center of Sapa town.
There will be thousands of antique cars, trams, bicycles decorated with fresh flowers, along with performances by local
artists. Moreover, festival will be the combination of modern features and traditional culture in order to create a romantic
space. In particular, couples can choose to sit on a rose carriage to honor their love and save romantic moments.
Coming to Sapa in this festival, locals and tourists can also have a chance to immerse themselves in the Northwest cultural
spaces with Sapa love market, some gift fair, the cultural festival of ethnic groups in Ta Phin commune, the art programme
highlighting Sapa’s beauty.
The organizers also revealed that during the rose festival, there will be a love gala night with an art show showing the
traditions and youthful atmosphere of Sa Pa.
