The below table has the critical attributes provided in a checklist that must be followed to conclude a listing as an ITEM
FOUND.
Attribute Condition
Must be an Exact Match (If there are missing keywords in the title in either
Title Competitor or Amazon, search for the missing keywords in either in the
specifications or dumper and accordingly map it.)
Must be an Exact Match, (Exception being if it is a sub-brand (or) can be ignored if

DO'S:
1. Part number must match
2. Model number must match
3. Brand/Manufacturer name must match (Must be an Exact Match, Exception being if it is a sub-brand (or) can be
ignored if UPC, Model# matches.)
4. Product type must match
5. Specifications must match
6. Product features must match
7. Color/design/theme must match
8. Size must match
9. Dimensions must match
10. Power output must match
11. Material must match
12. Number of items available in a pack must match
13. Accessories if provided must match
14. Discontinued products can map to Normal product
15. While mapping products from Amazon in E-bay, an exact match is found but the product is no longer available for
sale as the listing is ended by the seller. The product will be mapped as ITEM NOT FOUND.
DON'TS:
1. If there is a conflict in part number, fetch the same from the competitor and search for that in Amazon
1. If the search returns the same product check for the attributes and then map the product
2. If the search returns a different product do not map the product
2. Do not map pages where more than one product is listed in a page. These are multiple product pages and hence mark
it as INF.
3. Do not map to the search pages. Always map only to the detail page of the product
4. Do not map products if the price is mentioned in range. For example $20-$25, as the crawler will not be able to scrape
the price from the competitor if the price is in range
5. New products from Amazon cannot be mapped to Open Box/Like
New/Refurbished/Remanufactured/Recertified/OEM/OEI/Pre-owned products in the competitor, even if all the
parameters match exactly.

For All Categories in US Home we are allowed to match products which carry different packs between Amazon & Competitor,
provided all other specifications were identical.
For Categories 20106000 (Bedding) & 20106700 (Home Storage) the recommended net pack threshold for matching is ≥70%.
For All Other Categories (excluding Cat 20106000 & 20106700) the recommended net pack threshold for matching is >100%.
The Amazon catalogue dumper attributes to be considered for PPU mapping are 1.) Unit_Count & 2.) Unit_Count_Type.
PROCESS UPDATE:
We can map the product as IF for the below mentioned conditions
ITEM
Mismatch in Model number/Part number but UPC/EAN, pack, quantity and size matches.
FOUND
Brand not mentioned in the competitor and when specifications like UPC/EAN, Model, Pack, and Size are ITEM

Update: While mapping a single product from Amazon in Lowes.com, please ensure the quantity/ordering units in the
Lowes.com is the same.
If the ordering units differ then map the product as ITEM NOT FOUND.
Note: The price suggested will be higher than Amazon’s product price, if the quantity is different. Hence the

product title carries the exact color/size but the drop down box doesn’t carry the same. Map the product as ITEM NOT FOUND.

While mapping a product in Walmart.com, an exact match is found. If the product detail page doesn’t not have user action
map the product as ITEM FOUND without using UA tool.
Note: Use UA tool only if the product detail page has User Action.
While mapping products carrying “See low price in cart” through UAT for the competitor Target. Step need to be followed while

Update: The search page in Cymax looks like product detail page hence click on the title to redirect to product detail page .
While mapping GPS suggestions for Cymax or during manual search in competitor, click on the product title in the search page
& this will redirect to the actual product detail page URL. Map the product as ITEM FOUND in the product detail page.
Mapping Products Page with SWATCH Layouts in Cymax - UAT not required
Update: User action Tool is not required to map multiple products page with SWATCH layouts in Cymax.com
While mapping a product from Amazon in competitor, an exact match is found but the product page is a multiple products page
(SWATCH layout) with different colors. Select the exact color & map the product as ITEM FOUND.

Update: While mapping a product in macy_s.com, an exact match is found. If the product detail page doesn’t not have user

Trademark Global & Trademark Effective 6th Jan 2020, for canvas products pertaining to brands
“Trademark Global” and “Trademark Fine Arts”, we can map sizes with +/-
3 inch difference only if UPC is an exact match.
Fine Arts.
Brand Metaverse can be Effective 30th July 2020, for canvas products, we can map brands
mapped as IF against equivalent “Metaverse” and “Trademark Fine Arts”, if all other specs are exact match.

As per the new guideline update (category: 20108600) Home & Garden/Sewing, Craft & Hobby/Sewing) except for “Machines”
of any kind (Example: Die-cut machines, Heat Press Machines etc.), If we don’t find an exact color match in the external
competitor then we can map the product with different color but same specifications
