PRE- ACTIVITY
Open your google classroom for the video. (Learn all about sounds).
What was the video all about?

Sound is spread through various elements such as air, water, and solids.
It is produced from the relationship of different resources in our
environment.

READING YOUR WAY

Nature is like our parents who provide what we need. It provides shelter to us and
it provides the basic things that we need to survive.
Read the poem, “Maytime Magic”-please refer to the content in
our Google classroom.

Using Nouns in Sentences


A noun is a name of person, place, animal, or a thing.
Examples:
o Alexis, Arabella and Andy are good friends.
o They go to the same school on weekdays.
o Alexis has a dog, Arabella has cat, and Andy has a bird.
o They throw their trashes properly.
The underlined words above are examples of nouns. Alexis, Arabella, and Andy are
names of persons. School is a name of a place. Dog, cat, and bird are names of
animals. Trash is a thing.
