Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada is hereby notifying its UGSRS — 2022-23 (Under Graduate Student Research Scholarships-2022) programme under Research & Development Department, duly inviting applications from interested MBBS/BDS/AYUSH/ NURSING/PHYSIOTHERAPY students of the respective affiliated colleges for the Under Graduate Student Research Scholarships (UGSRS — 2022-23), The application form will be available in Dr.NTRUHS, website : www.ntruhs.ap.nic.in. 1. The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences started granting Under Graduate Student Research Scholarships in order to promote interest and aptitude for Research among Undergraduates. The main objective of this programme is to provide an opportunity to Undergraduate Students in institutions which are affiliated to Dr. NTR UHS to familiarize themselves with Research Methodology. 2. Approximately 500 students (MBBS ~ 250, BDS-100, AYUSH-25, NURSING ~ 100, Physiotherapy — 25) can register for the programme in a year and the eligible candidates will be awarded UGSRS after submission of their project report and after review/evaluation by Ph.D committee of Dr.NTRUHS, Vja. 3. The value of the Under Graduate Student Research Scholarship is Rs.5,000/- per month for two months duration (Total Rs.10,000/- only) and is meant to be a stipend for the student. 4. UGSRS program is only for MBBS/BDS/AYUSH/NURSING/ PHYSIOTHERAPY students from the affiliated colleges of Dr. NTRUHS, Vijayawada and before they appear in their final exams and therefore Interns/PG students are not eligible to apply. 5. The UGSRS application and Research Proposal should be submitted along with Application Attestation Form as available in the University website www.ntruhs.ap.nic.in duly certified by the Guide and Head of the Institution, 6. The Application Attestation Form — UGSRS-2022 has to be filled-in and to submit as per the detailed instructions provided in the University website. 7. Only hard copies of the proposals shall be received or considered. 8 The Application Attestation Form and Under Graduate Students Research Scholarships (UGSRS-2022) Research proposal has to be submitted to the University on or before 25-06-2022 by 5:00 P.M. After 25-06-2022, no application will be considered. 9. Proposals through E-Mail will not be considered. 10. The list of selected students to undertake UGSRS research work will be displayed on the Dr. NTR UHS, Vja website tentatively by 15% July, 2022. 11. The Institution must provide the student with all the facilities for carrying out research. Contd..212. The selected students should complete the Research Project in the prescribed time schedule i.e,, in two months ie, in July and October, 2022 and to submit the report along with UGSRS Application Form available in the University website www.ntruhs.ap.nic.in on or before 30" November, 2022 by 5:00 P.M. 13. The student will be awarded a stipend and certificate only if his/her UGSRS report is approved by Dr. NTR UHS. Please Note : 1. The cost of Research must be borne by the respective colleges i.e, MBBS/BDS/AYUSH/NURSING/ PHYSIOTHERAPY institution where the work will be carried out. 2. The Research Projects which have been already considered and already received grants from any other funding agencies or from Dr. NTR UHS, Vja will not be accepted for UGSRS - 2022. 3. After cut-off date ie,, 25-06-2022 any application and proposal submission or any requests will not be entertained by Dr. NTR UHS under any circumstances.
