Unit 4: Components

We have many important inventions: the smartphone, laptop, the computer, the camera... They make
change the world very much. Especially, the most important invention is the laptop.

Now, The laptop is produced by: Dell, Lenovo, Sam Sung, and Apple..... It is very useful, everyone usually
makes on the laptop because technology information is developing very much. I am using a Dell laptop.
The laptop has many components: a display screen, keyboard, motherboard, mouse, touchpad, CPU
(Central Processing Unit) and RAM (Random Access Memory), disk driver, and port.

The functions, a first display screen is used to display images and information from users that need to
find on the laptop and help the user drive the laptop. Now I am using the Dell screen, It is made of
plastic and glass, and it has 24 inches with 90 Hz. Next, a computer keyboard allows an operator to give
commands to the computer in a simple way by pressing keys. The keyboard is used for inputting
functions ranging from letters of the alphabet to numbers and symbols. Then, Motherboard is used for
driving and connecting components together (CPU, RAM,....).

The brain of the laptop is the CPU, every single operation that you do with your computer is processed
by the CPU. The performance of your computer is based on simple mathematical operations, and the
CPU is the device that controls all of those operations. There is a disk drive that is used for saving data
on the disc. Users can use the port to connect the keyboard, and cable to connect internet. Touchpad
which helps use scroll down the web page and clicks.

I use a laptop every day to study and work, then I listen to music. Sometimes, I play games on the
laptop: Fifa, league of legends...
