 MANAGED SERVICES SPECIFICATION

This Appendix contains the comprehensive description of the scope and deliverables of the Field Managed
Services to be provided to EMTS Nigeria by the contractor. An overview of the in-scope services includes but is
not limited to;

 Field Managed service of access nodes including (2G, 3G, 4G and future technologies)
 Field Maintenance service for Transmission site equipment
 Field Maintenance Service of all transmission nodes
 Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Service (Components associated with Active equipment)
 Adequate number of Staff with EMTS required expertise to manage the above functions including
resources in the NOC for coordination of field activities and resources.
 Active Equipment Security (Logical Security/immediate environmental security)
 Environmental management
 Adequate and competent Staff to manage the above functions(as agreed by EMTS and reviewed by
EMTS from time to time when applicable)
 Disaster recovery management & business continuity management
 Spare parts management (replacement/logistics management, coordination with Level 3 vendor for
repair & Return tracking)
 More details as specified in the file attached to this appendix 1.
 Regional warehouse provisioning and management in EMTS required locations, including security of
assets.

Note: Detailed organogram to be provided and WBS across the region with the number of resources
assigned per site with applicable expertise. Please refer to all Appendices to determine level of
expertise essential and quantity of resources required.
