    10 years ago Falkland islanders overwhelmingly voted to remain British;

    democratic self-determination is a sovereign right and so it should be for Chagos


    islanders over the British Indian Ocean Territory’s future. I raised this with the
    Foreign Secretary earlier in Parliament.
